As LaMelo Ball breaks the internet with his 92 points eruption...we wanted to show you that he's actually been doing this for years. Even before everyone started going crazy over the Chino Hills show, the Ball brothers were doing their innovative style of basketball. In this video, LaMelo Ball is 13 years old playing at the Adidas Super 64 in Las Vegas. He's playing for his Dad's team, Big Ballers, at the 17U level with his brothers Lonzo and Liangelo. In this particular matchup, they're playing against the Atlanta Celtics who has Kobi Simmons (Arizona), Josh Langford (Michigan State), Kamar Baldwin (Butler), EJ Montgomery (5-star), and James Banks (Texas). So it was obviously a loaded matchup and they had just about every major D1 coach in attendance. Lonzo Ball went off for 36 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists while younger brother, 13 year-old LaMelo Ball finished with 32 points, including 7-13 from 3-point range. The point is, they've been doing this for years. The Ball Brothers are showcasing their brand of basketball to the world, so we thought we'd share this old footage with you for our #ThrowbackThursday video of the week. Subscribe!
